PRIVACY POLICY
At Fort Sill National Bank, we respect every individual's right to privacy. Our relationship with you is our most valuable asset and the basis of our name and reputation. Because of this, the Bank has adopted the following privacy policy continuing our commitment to you.
Recognition of Your Expectation of Privacy. We recognize that you expect privacy and security for your personal and financial affairs. We understand the need to safeguard our sensitive information about you that you have entrusted to us. We maintain standards and procedures designed to prevent misuse of this information. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
What Information We Collect. We collect “nonpublic personal information” about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other loan and account forms, such as: your name, address, social security number, assets and income.
- Information about your transactions with our affiliates, others, or us such as: your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions, and credit card usage.
- Information we receive from third parties such as: credit bureaus.
“Nonpublic personal information” is nonpublic information about you that we obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to you.
Our Maintenance of Accurate Information. We have procedures to help assure that your financial information is accurate, current, and complete in accordance with commercial standards. We also have procedures to respond to your requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner. While some of these procedures are required by federal or state law, we have implemented additional procedures to maintain accurate, current, and complete financial information, including processes to update information and remove old information.
What Information We Disclose. We are permitted under law to disclose nonpublic personal information about you to other third parties in certain circumstances. For example, we may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to third parties:
- To assist us in servicing your account or loan with us,
- To government entities in response to subpoenas,
- To credit bureaus
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law. If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to this privacy policy.
Confidentiality and Security of Information. We also take steps to safeguard customer information. We train employees stressing the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy. All employees are obligated to keep our customer’s personal information confidential and never discuss or disclose such information inside or outside of Fort Sill National Bank, unless required to transact proper bank business. Employees who violate these standards will be subject to disciplinary measures. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
